Wanted - Japanese Car

My old man has just traded in his old Mitsubishi Delica, a great 4x4 imported from Japan.

To replace it we are interested in the Nissan Cube, but as you can see, the prices are quite high in the UK. Anyone interested in trying to buy one in Japan for me and export it?

Seriously.

LOVE the Nissan Cube... great looking motor.

Why not go for a Bb instead though. I can just see your mum and dad crusing the streets of Bristol (still live there dont they??) with some phat classical pumping outta the speakers , neon light underneath, maybe some graphics down the side!! ;)

You gotta admit, Bb make some wild looking motors.

Hey, that's not a bad idea. There's sure to be a glut of Cubes all over UK roads now. And the Bb is made by Toyota which I love.
For those of you that haven't seen this great machine, here's the Wikipedia entry and here's the official site (but be warned, it takes a while).

When I first arrived here, and still now actually, I wondered WHY I had never seen some of these cars on UK roads.

You reckon there must be a load, but I never saw one... even after 4 years in London.

Anyhow, if youre after rarity, try the Daihatsu Copen. I love to see your 6'4+ father cruising in one of them!! ;)

I think they've reached a "price breakthrough" and then they'll start spilling out. There's a place around the corner from us that now specialises in them.

It's the same with the Nissan Figaro - Wayne Hemmingway and Andrew Marr are to be seen swanning around in them now, so there are loads of them about. The Delica is two-a-penny now in Bristol.

Oh, and the Daihatsu Copen is now imported by Daihatsu themselves since it got so popular on the import.

Wow!!! Guess I am talking about a year and a half ago... my experience is a little out of date!

Make sure you blog the final verdict though and the trials of getting it over to the UK! Would love to see!
